Tom Gilley, Branch Partner/Senior Loan Officer for North American Lending, (a Mortgage Bank) is a trusted advisor in the area of mortgage lending to Realtors and Home Buyers, alike. Since beginning his career in mortgage banking nearly 17 years ago, he has risen to become one of the premier Loan Officers in the Dallas area, having personally arranged financing for over 2,280 families totaling more than $310 million in successful closings.
As a professional who truly realizes the value of exceptional service, Tom consistently ranks as a top producing loan officer by exceeding client expectations. His product knowledge and expertise allow him to create the best mortgage plan to lower costs, save money and accomplish the desired goals for any borrower. And, his team of experts insures that things happen within “better than average” timeframes, allowing for closings to never be delayed.
A quote from Tom explains his philosophy, .....“Because 100% of my business is referral-based, I take a personal approach with each of my clients, with the intent to build a long term business relationship. A lot of people think that I am just in the business of doing loans. I really don’t look at it that way. As a Mortgage Advisor and Planner, I see myself as helping my clients create, perhaps, the largest single debt of their lifetime, and I, therefore, have a responsibility to help them professionally manage that debt to their benefit. I see my primary role as helping my clients integrate the mortgage loan that they select into their overall long and short-term financial and investment goals. I make it fit within their payment, equity, cash flow, and tax objectives; and, I do this by structuring the loan with the lowest rate and fee combination available in the marketplace” ~ Tom Gilley.
Tom was raised in the Dallas area, and graduated from Austin College with a degree in Economics. He later attended the University of Texas at Dallas, in the graduate program of Accounting/MBA. He is married to Karen, his wife of 17 years. And, together, they have 3 children. They attend Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, in Carrollton, where Tom volunteers in the Children’s Ministry.
Tom is always available and is anxious to speak to you!
